Let’s take a look at the screen sizes of the Nokia E71 with the Nokia N95 8GB and the Nokia N82 using side-to-side photos. We all know they use the same resolution size, 240×320 (or 320×240), but the actual screen size on the Nokia E71 is 2.36 inches compared to 2.8 on the Nokia N95 8GB and 2.4 on the Nokia N82. Pictures do better when comparing sizes, so let’s take a look.
On paper, the difference is miniscule. On a picture, 0.34 inches difference is in fact, pretty big. Click on the images for larger view.

You can see the biggest difference between the Nokia N95 8GB and the Nokia E71. I placed an American quarter on there for comparison as well. Don’t they appear to have the same width? This realization made me wish the Nokia N95 8GB featured a higher resolution.
